Cameron Sun is a Los Angeles-based filmmaker and creative director with over a decade of experience in the industry. A graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Cameron has built a dynamic career that bridges the gap between traditional filmmaking and online digital media.
Cameron's filmmaking journey is marked by a series of acclaimed genre short films. His horror drama "Forgive Me" (2024) premiered at Sitges Film Festival, the number one fantasy film festival in the world. His action short films "Spider-Chan" (2023) and “John Witch” (2019) both won the Best Fan Film award at Urban Action Showcase, as well as many more accolades. His horror short film "The Hangman" (2022), premiered at the Chinese Theatres in Hollywood for Screamfest Horror Film Festival, and won Best Horror/Thriller Film at Glendale International Film Festival. He's passionate about creating genre films that explore Asian American identity, and cross cultural understanding.
As the creative director of Cam's Creations, Cameron has created a thriving YouTube channel with over 1.4 million subscribers and more than 588 million views. His channel is known for its viral action-comedy shorts inspired by comic books, movies, TV shows, and video games. He’s collaborated with major brands like Marvel, Sony Pictures, Ubisoft, Google, Adobe and more on marketing campaigns. Cameron's content has gained widespread recognition, being featured by publications like Buzzfeed, The Daily What, The Awesomer, Gamology and more. He has been invited to consult with YouTube, ByteDance, gen.video, Creator Plus, and others on creative and product strategy.
